Now that you have your completed wings, you might wonder how you're supposed to hide all these straps under clothing. Well, ABe Yoshitoshi already thought of that problem for you, so I'm here to show you the details of making wing slots in your clothes.
Many dresses have a neck-line facing around the inside of the collar. If your dress doesn't have one, one can be added by fairly easily. Measure the distance between your wings at the base and create two slits for each. Don't cut the neck facing! Use a stitch ripper to pull the dress away from the facing and use a zig-zag stitch to keep the edges from fraying. Then sew in some velcro to close things up at the top. The flaps and buttons you see on my Rakka dress are purely ornamental.

Then take your collar and cut matching slits from the bottom. Don't cut them too high, just enough to see about 2 1/2" of the other slits. Use more zig-zag stitches around the edge. I chose zigzag stitching, because I felt it looked more like the outfit was more quickly fixed-up, rather than carefully tailored.
Most Haibane outfits can use this method to make holes for their wings, however if you can't seem to make this method work, you can always make flaps like the ones I have, only functional. I highly suggest velcro, as it's really difficult to button things on your back, or use hook-and-eyes accurately unless you're a bra-master ^_^
